GTA V social club error code 17 fix

So yesterday when I fired up the GTA V(RG Mechanics repack) it was stuck in the loadscreen. All I got was "Initializing Social Club" and after a minute or two I got "social club error error code: 17". SO this wasn't good that's why I searched the internet and found the solution for it.

The problem starts after the notification that "Social Club UI has stopped working" or similar to this:

The main cause of the problem is our OS. I was running on Windows 7 Ultimate build 7600. SO I had very initial build of windows 7.

So I simply installed new OS(Windows 7 New Generation: Win 7 SP1) which I downloaded a long time ago. I just installed it by making new partition. If you do not intend to install new OS then you can just try upgrading your existing OS to SP1. Read this article.

If you have problem of "GTA V Launcher stopped working" then just install Social Club or install the latest patch. Anyway ultimately you have to install Social Club.
