Hide your hard disk.

This is a simple method of hiding the hard disk partion. This works on all windows OS i.e. XP, vista, 7 and 8. This is also the process of editing in gpedit.msc like my previous article "Increase your internet speed by 20%"

Steps:

i. Run gpedit.msc or type it in start menu(win7,8)

 

        

ii. Go to User Configuration/ Administrative Templates/ Windows Components/ Windows Explorer.

 iii. Double click Hide this specific drives in my computer.

 iv. Tick on Enable then select the partion you want to hide from drop down menu. Here I am hiding my all partions.

v. Apply and ok. Now see the effect. If it is not working properly then simply restart of log off then logon.

 Now if you want to access your hard disk then edit navigation bar i.e. :

 Enter your partion letter and end with semicolon for e.g. c: which is mine system drive.

Note: Custom or specific partion hiding may not work on all hard disks or computer.
